Thanks. FWIW for the data space I have one draft which is about exactly that, alternatives that work better (depending on the situation). Ultimately I think the question comes down to: do you aim for building a platform/ecosystem? If so, how are you going to feed it, the network effects necessary to keep it running. If you have an answer that involves less open source, you got your answer
