Big new things

• Datacisions.com is back in action with daily random thoughts from me on decisions, data and other stuff. Still on and off a bit though.

What happened here?

• BI and generative AI still don’t mix well

• Eva's first 6 weeks as marketing lead at a B2B SaaS Startup

• AI states the obvious

What am I still contemplating?

• Nothing I’m on vacation!

Books I have open right now

I'm not saying I recommend any of those; I’m sampling, reading, and discarding a lot of books nowadays.

• “Careless People” is a written super engaging. Not sure about the message, but the stories from Facebook as it becomes a global (1 billion users + ) thing are insightful.

• “Range” about why generalists thrive. As I do consider myself somewhat of a generalist this is a very promising book. And of course the idea that AI makes generalists even more powerful did play into the decision to sample this.

• “Focus” about why focus is important - and all different kinds of focus. The books’ topic is interesting but can’t say for sure I’d recommend it due to the style.
